Nonmedical In-Home Care Services
Our caregivers provide nonmedical services to your loved one at your loved one's place of residence. These services assist you with different daily activities and include the following:
- Incontinence care
- Mobility, transfer, and ambulation assistance
- Medication reminders
- Running errands and taking you to appointments
- Grooming, bathing, dressing
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Other personal care services
These services are offered on a daily basis (minimum of 4 hours a day). We also provide 24-hour care and live-in options. We work with your schedule to provide the best care for your specific situation.
Paying for Home Care
Medical Insurance
California's Medi-Cal Program pays for home care through waiver programs such as HCBA. To be a waiver participant, you must qualify for full Medi-Cal benefits. Contact Us for more info.
Long-Term Care Insurance
Home care can be covered by a long-term care insurance policy purchased through an insurance agency for long-term care expenses.
Private Pay
Some people pay for home care "out-of-pocket" or private pay with funds typically coming from savings, individual retirement accounts, pensions, social security benefits, 401 (k).
Veterans Benefits
In-home coverage may be available through various VA programs if you receive a pension from the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
